Once a concern has been registered, an officer will be assigned to investigate. Each investigation is unique in some way and there are varying levels of complexity and time requirements. The investigating officer will review the information and determine what action, if any, should be taken.

Enforcement and By-law Services strive to ensure that all issues raised by the public are received and investigated in a fair, impartial and timely manner. While current circumstances and a high volume of calls for service may impede service delivery, we strive to respond to all concerns in a timely manner. It is our intention to provide you with quality service.

Personal information may be collected under authority of the Municipal Act, SO 2001, c. 25, s.8. Your personal information is confidential when the City of Brampton receives your Service Request. However, if the matter proceeds to Court, your information and that of any other witnesses may become part of the public record.
