Report/Request a Traffic Sign

The City of Brampton’s Roads Maintenance & Operations Department will respond to reports regarding traffic signs within the City of Brampton. Traffic signs include, but are not limited to:

· Curve warning with advisory speed tab

· Street Name Signs

· Do not enter

· Keep right

· One way

· School Crossing Ahead

  • Stop Sign

· Stop Sign Ahead

· Yield

· Checkerboard

· No Heavy Trucks

· No Parking

· No Right/Left turn

· Directional Signs

· Advanced Railway Crossing Ahead Sign
 

What Happens After I Submit my Request or Concern?

Traffic sign service requests follow a 3-Tier Matrix:

Priority 1: An incident that poses an immediate safety risk to the motoring, cycling or pedestrian traffic within the City right-of-way. Responded to within 1-day.

Priority 2: An incident or request that does not pose an immediate safety risk to the motoring, cycling or pedestrian traffic within the City right-of-way, however should be attended to within the prescribed time. Responded to within 14-days.

Priority 3: A request or inquiry to obtain general information. Responded to within 35-days.
