COVID-19 - Business Operations & Restrictions

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, multiple businesses both commercial and industrial were requested to close and cease work to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The Provincial Government has announced an Ontario-wide Stay-at-Home Order. The Stay-at-Home Order will take effect on Thursday April 8th, at 12:01am. The COVID-19 Response Framework is paused until the order has been lifted.

Due to these forced closures, if a restricted business is open, Enforcement Officers will conduct the initial inspection and will issue a Notice of Violation or verbal warning as required for non-essential businesses.

If you would like to report a restricted business that is still open, please submit a service request, call 311 or 905-874-2000.
